Crystal Siemens was in
Shanghai recently, and was overwhelmed by one thing -- speed.
Shanghai is a never-slow-down sensory trip. Crystal, who resides in
Toronto, came home inspired to theme her fall/winter 2000 collection
around speed -- and to interpret it in color, textile and cut.
Crystal makes each outfit a unique statement, always bold, always forward
looking. I've followed Crystal for a year now. Her workmanship
is consistently flawless. Her designer's vision is brilliant.
Always in evidence is Crystal's clean line, the inherent architectural
inspiration, the wow power, and with this collection, the Chinese
influence (particularly the reds), and the sexy, soigné, slightly Suzy
Wong slink. |
